Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    1 c. sweet milk
    3 c. plain flour
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 to 3 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream sugar, butter and Crisco.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Combine flour and baking powder; add to butter mixture alternately with milk.
    Add flavoring.
    Pour into greased and floured pan. Set in cold oven.
    Set temperature at 325\u00b0 and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
