English Berry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 16 slices white bread, crusts removed and cut into half of quarter triangles
    2 c. raspberries
    2 c. blueberries
    2 c. sliced strawberries
    1 c. all-fruit raspberry preserves
    confectioners sugar
    mint leaves (optional)
    additional fresh fruit (optional)
Preparation
    Line a deep 1 1/2 to 2-quart bowl with plastic wrap.
    Line bottom and sides of bowl with about half the bread triangles, completely covering the surface so there are no gaps between bread slices.
    In medium saucepan over high heat, combine berries and raspberry preserves; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat to medium and simmer fruit 5 minutes to release juices.
