Beef Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef
    3 qt. water
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. Worcestershire
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/3 c. barley
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1 c. sliced potatoes
    1 c. shredded cabbage
    1 c. peas
    3 1/2 c. tomatoes
    3 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Preparation
    Place beef, water, salt, Worcestershire sauce and pepper in large pot.
    Cover and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer 1 hour longer.
