Chicken Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 5 lb. chicken
    2 tsp. salt
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 28 oz. can whole tomatoes
    1/2 to 1 stick butter or margarine
    2 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1 lb. bag frozen chopped okra
    1 Tbsp. Creole seasoning
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    Pepper
    Prepared rice
Preparation
    Boil chicken in salt water and debone.
    Strain liquid and add enough water to make 2 to 3 quarts.
    Add green pepper, onion and tomatoes.
    Boil 20 minutes.
    In a separate bowl, combine butter and flour.
    Stir until darken.
    Add to the boiled liquid.
    After 5 minutes, add chopped chicken and okra.
    Cook another 5 to 7 minutes. Add seasoning, salt and pepper to taste.
    Serve over rice.
