Japanese Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1/3 c. nut meats (optional)
Preparation
    Sift flour and sugar.
    Add Crisco, milk and vanilla.
    Beat 2 minutes, then add eggs.
    Beat well.
    Pour 1/3 of batter into layer pan.
    Then, stir in nut meats and spices into rest of batter.
    Make 2 layers out of this batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. When layers are cool, spread filling between layers.
