Norma Koerner'S Vanilla Halloween Taffy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix and boil until hard-crack stage is reached.
    Pour onto buttered dishes and begin to work from edges.
    Careful, it's hot! When temperature has reached a tolerable point, start pulling. Keep hands well buttered to avoid sticking.
    Taffy will appear snow white when done.
