Holiday Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
    10 to 12 stuffed olives, sliced round
    1/4 c. (2 oz.) pecan chips
    1/4 c. grated American cheese
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients together and bring to a boil for 2 minutes.
    Mix in jello.
    Let chill (thick but not jelled).
    Add olives, pecan chips and cheese.
    Beat whipping cream until it peaks and add.
    Mix all ingredients together and chill.
