Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

pastry for 1 (9-inch) crust pie
12 slices bacon, crispy fried and crumbled
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
1/3 c. minced onion
4 eggs
2 c. half and half
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne red pepper
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pastry-lined pie plate.
Beat eggs slightly; blend in remaining ingredients.
Bake 15 minutes at 425\u00b0, then reduce temperature to 300\u00b0.
Bake 30 minutes until knife inserted halfway between edge and center and edge comes out clean.
Let pie stand 10 minutes before cutting.
Serve hot.
