Golden Glow Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 qt. cukes, peeled, cored and cubed
4 large onions, cubed
2 sweet red peppers, chopped
2 sweet green peppers, chopped
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. turmeric
5 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 qt. vinegar
1/3 c. salt
Preparation
-
Sprinkle salt onto cukes.
Let stand 2 hours.
Drain.
Add vinegar, sugar and spices.
Cook vegetables until tender.
Jar and seal.
