Brunch Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices white bread (crusts removed)
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 lb. diced ham
    soft margarine or butter
    6 eggs
    3 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Butter all the bread on both sides.
    Place six slices in a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.
    Sprinkle on half the cheese and half the ham.
    Repeat bread, cheese and ham.
