Company Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium yellow squash, chopped
    5 tbsp. margarine, divided
    1 cup milk
    1 small can mushrooms, drained
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 tbsp. flour
    5 slices cheese, chopped
    1/2 cup cracker crumbs
    Salt and Pepper, to taste
Preparation
    Place squash and onion in pan, cover with water and cook 5 minutes.
    Drain and set aside.
    Melt 3 tbsp. margarine in heavy saucepan over low heat.
    Add flour and cook 1 minute. Gradually add milk.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly.
    Add cheese and stir to melt.
    Stir in squash mixture and mushrooms.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Spoon into greased casserole.
    Melt remaining margarine and stir in cracker crumbs. Sprinkle mixture over squash.
    Bake.
