Pennsylvania Dutch Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 medium apples, chopped (3 c.)
    1/2 c nut meats, chopped
Preparation
    Mix the ingredients in order given.
    The batter will be very thick.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes in a 9 x 9-inch pan.
