Seven Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    5 Tbsp. cold water
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place first 4 ingredients in top of double boiler over rapidly boiling water.
    Beat with electric mixer for seven (7) minutes or until the mixture holds a peak.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla. Beat well and spread on cake.
