Crock-Pot Italian 3 Cheese Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1 egg
    4 saltine crackers, crushed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    fat for browning meatballs
    1 (32 oz.) jar Ragu spaghetti sauce
    4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    4 oz. Swiss cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Mix ground chuck, egg, cracker crumbs, salt, pepper and minced onion.
    Form into 1 1/2-inch balls.
    Saute in fat until browned. In crock-pot, layer 1/3 Ragu, 1/2 meatballs, 1/2 Cheddar and Mozzarella and 1/3 sauce.
    Repeat with second layer of meatballs, Cheddar and Mozzarella cheeses and sauce.
    Top with Swiss cheese. Simmer about 2 hours on low.
    Serves 6 to 8.
