Country-Style Chicken Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 4 lb. chicken, cut up
1 onion, chopped
1 carrots, finely chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. chopped thyme
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
6 c. water
4 oz. cooked fine egg noodles or 3 c. cooked rice
Preparation

In a 4-quart or large slow cooker, combine chicken, onion, carrot, celery, parsley, bay leaf, thyme, salt, pepper and water. Cover and cook on low 7 to 8 hours or until tender.
