Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 pkg. caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. chocolate chips
    2 c. nuts
    3/4 c. melted butter or margarine
Preparation
    Prepare cake according to package directions.
    Pour 1/2 the batter into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0. Melt caramels with milk and butter over low heat.
    After baking the cake, pour caramel mixture over cake.
    Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
    Pour remaining 1/2 batter over this.
    Sprinkle with any remaining nuts and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Remove from oven and cool.
