Diabetic Apple Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 2/3 c. flour
7 packets artificial sweetener
1 Tbsp. raw honey
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
2/3 c. skim milk
1/4 c. melted shortening
1 c. minced apple
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift flour, sweetener, baking powder and salt into mixing bowl. Combine egg, milk, vanilla and shortening. Add this mixture to flour mixture. Blend until flour is moistened. Do not overmix; batter should be lumpy. Fold in minced apples.
