Strawberry Freezer Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. strawberries, finely mashed through sieve
    4 c. sugar
    1 pkg. pectin
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Combine berries and sugar.
    Let stand 20 minutes.
    Stirring occasionally, stir pectin in water, bring to a boil and boil rapidly 1 minute; stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat, add berries and stir about 2 minutes.
    Pour into jars.
    Cover and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.
    Refrigerate until gelled, seal with wax.
    Store in freezer.
