Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground turkey
    1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/8 tsp. ground allspice
    1/2 tsp. thyme leaves, dried and crushed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    oil (for frying)
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. celery broth
    1/2 tsp. dried parsley
Preparation
    Mix ground turkey, onion, egg, bread crumbs, nutmeg, allspice, thyme, salt and pepper.
    Form into balls about the size of a walnut.
    Heat a small amount of oil in a heavy skillet over moderately high heat.
    Brown meatballs; remove from skillet.
    Add enough oil to skillet to equal 3 tablespoons.
    When hot, stir in 1/4 cup flour.
    Continue stirring until flour is golden brown. Pour in beef broth, stirring constantly.
    When gravy has thickened, return meatballs to skillet.
    Reduce heat; add parsley. Simmer for 20 minutes; do not boil.
    Serve over cooked noodles. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
