Raspberry Almond Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/3 c. raspberry jam
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg and almond extract and beat.
Add flour, baking powder and salt and blend well.
Spread in ungreased 9-inch square pan.
Smooth surface.
Using a wet finger, make 5 to 7 diagonal indentations.
Fill with jam.
Bake 12 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares.
