Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 whole eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/3 c. cocoa
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 pkg. miniature marshmallows
    2 sticks oleo
    1 box powdered sugar
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1/2 c. canned milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, beating by hand.
    Sift cocoa, flour and salt; add vanilla and nuts.
    Bake for 35 minutes at 300\u00b0.
    Add marshmallows and bake 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool completely; ice as follows.
