Creamy Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium size baking potatoes
    1/2 lb. shredded cheese
    2 sticks butter
    1 (16 oz.) can chicken broth
    1 medium green pepper
    1 small hot (red) pepper (optional)
    2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    4 stalks celery
    1 large onion
    1 can milk
    gravy flour (for thickening)
    salt and pepper
    garlic clove (optional)
Preparation
    Cook together first nine ingredients until done.
    Make white sauce with gravy flour and milk so it pours well into cooking pot. Add 1 can of milk.
    Blend well.
    Add cheese as you desire.
    Cook for another 5 minutes.
    Serve hot with corn bread.
