Baked Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, beaten slightly
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 3/4 c. milk, scalded
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Blend eggs, sugar and salt in a small mixing bowl.
    Slowly stir in milk.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven, after having placed dish in a larger baking pan filled with hot water, for 45 to 50 minutes until set and golden brown.
