Ham Potatoes Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped green onion
    1/4 c. chopped green bell pepper
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. butter
    dash of pepper
    1 c. milk
    4 oz. American cheese, shredded (1 c.)
    1/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
    3 medium potatoes, cooked and diced (3 c.)
    1 lb. cooked ham, diced (2 c.)
Preparation
    Cook onion and green pepper in butter until tender.
    Stir in flour and pepper.
    Add milk all at once and bring to boil, stirring constantly.
    Reduce heat; add cheese and mayonnaise. Stir until cheese melts.
    Combine potatoes and ham with sauce. Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
