Madrilane - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. tomato puree
    6 c. beef broth
    2 Tbsp. onion
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 c. dry sherry
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and simmer 20 minutes.
    Strain through cheesecloth or a dish towel.
    You will be straining out the tomato puree.
    You will have about 6 cups of soup.
    You may wish to add a topping of sour cream or yogurt.
