Wild Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef round steak, ground
    1 small onion, finely grated (pulp and juice)
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (1 lb.) can whole cranberry sauce
Preparation
    Mix beef, onion, salt and pepper.
    Using 1 level tablespoon for each, shape into balls.
    In large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon each of butter and oil.
    Add half of the meatballs and brown on all sides.
    Drain on brown paper; repeat.
