Candied Pecans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 lb. (approximately 4 c.) pecan halves
Preparation

Combine sugar, water, salt, vanilla and cinnamon. Simmer in a skillet over medium heat (about 5 to 6 minutes) until mixture forms a strong thread from wooden spoon.
Remove from heat.
Stir in pecans.
Stir until all nuts are coated.
Cool on waxed paper. Separate nuts that are stuck together.
