Chocolate Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
3/4 c. light corn syrup
2 tsp. cider vinegar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. evaporated milk
2 qt. popped corn
Preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa, corn syrup, vinegar and salt thoroughly in a heavy 4-quart saucepan.
Add butter and cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil.
Gradually add evaporated milk.
Cook and stir over low heat until mixture reaches 265\u00b0 (hard ball stage) or until small amount dropped in cold water forms a hard ball.
Stir into popcorn.
Butter hands.
Quickly roll large spoonfuls of mixture into 4-inch balls.
Makes 20 balls.
