Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. sugar (caramelized)
    1 stick oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook 230\u00b0; boil to soft boil.
    Add butter.
    To test, drop syrup in cool water and see if it forms soft ball.
    Remove from heat; let cool.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Beat until smooth and spread.
