Merkle'S Creamy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 stick butter, melted
    1 1/2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 (16 oz.) container sour cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Butter a baking dish, 13 x 9-inch.
    Toss all ingredients together in a bowl.
    Transfer to the greased dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, uncovered.
    Serves 12.
