Butterscotch Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. light brown sugar
    2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add egg yolks and vanilla and blend.
    Stir in baking powder and flour.
    When evenly crumbled pat lightly into a greased and floured 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Sprinkle 1 cup of finely chopped walnuts over the crumbly mix.
