Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    6 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
    1 (8 oz.) jar processed American cheese spread
    2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and well drained
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. soda cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Saute onion in 4 tablespoons of butter until soft.
    Stir in flour.
    Add water and cook over low heat, stirring until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
    Blend in cheese.
    Combine sauce and broccoli.
    Add eggs, mix gently until blended.
    Turn into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Cover with cracker crumbs.
    Dot with remaining butter.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
