Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. each: chopped onion, celery and green pepper
    2 minced cloves garlic
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (28 oz.) can peeled tomatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste (may need to add 1/2 c. water)
    1 to 3 tsp. chili powder (to taste)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown beef in skillet; drain and combine with all other ingredients in Dutch oven and bring to boil.
    Then simmer for 1 to 2 hours.
    Or you may prepare in crock-pot and let simmer all day long.
    Serves 6.
