Parmesan Garlic Cheese Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 pkg. (3 oz.) each cream cheese, softened
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/3 c. milk
    1 large garlic clove, crushed
    1/2 tsp. dried marjoram leaves, crumbled
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    French bread, thinly sliced and toasted
Preparation
    Beat all ingredients except French bread in medium bowl until creamy.
    Pack into 2-cup crock or non-metal container; cover tightly.
    Refrigerate at least 24 hours, no longer than 2 weeks. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before serving.
    Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
    Serve with toasted French bread.
