Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. cocoa (unsweetened)
1/2 c. milk
4 Tbsp. peanut butter
8 large marshmallows
2 c. old-fashioned oats

Preparation

Combine sugar, butter, cocoa and milk in 2-quart saucepan. Simmer on medium heat until mixture comes to boil, stirring occasionally.
When rolling boil is reached, set timer for exactly 7 minutes; stir for entire 7 minute boil.
Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter, vanilla and marshmallows quickly.
Add oatmeal, stirring constantly.
Spoon out quickly on waxed paper. Cookies will set up within 10 to 15 minutes.
