Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. butter
6 eggs, separated
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add one egg yolk at a time and beat well.
Add sour cream and soda; beat.
Add flour, beat and add beaten egg whites.
Grease and flour tube pan.
Bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes in 300\u00b0 oven.
Turn out immediately.
Do not open oven door while cake is baking.
