Mexican Lunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    1 c. diced onions
    1 c. diced green peppers
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 3/4 c. buttermilk or 2 c. sour cream
    2 c. uncooked macaroni
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Brown sausage, onion and green pepper in large skillet. Add tomatoes, buttermilk, macaroni
    and
    seasonings.
    Stir and cover. Use high heat until steaming.
    Turn
    to low and simmer 25 minutes. (If using sour cream, add after cooking.)
