Simply Elegant Beef Tips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef tips
    1 1/2 Tbsp. oil
    2 large onions, cut in 1/2-inch rings and separated
    1 can sliced mushrooms, drained (reserve liquid)
    1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. dry sherry
    1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Preparation
    In a
    large
    skillet,
    brown
    meat in oil on high heat. Add onions.
    Saute until tender and crisp.
    Blend soup, sherry and liquid
    from
    mushrooms
    and
    garlic salt. Pour over meat. Add mushrooms.\tReduce\theat and cover; then simmer for 1 hour or until meat\tis
    tender
    (or cover and bake at 350\u00b0).
    Serve over fluffy rice or mashed potatoes.
