Pumpkin Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. mashed cooked pumpkin
3 eggs, beaten
1 unbaked pie shell
whipped cream (optional)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine sugar, salt and cinnamon.
Add pumpkin, syrup, eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
Pour into pie shell and top with pecans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until set.
Chill and serve with whipped cream, if desired.
