Coca-Cola Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small pkg. or 1 large pkg. cherry jello
    4, 6 or 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 jar maraschino cherries, chopped
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    16 oz. Coca-Cola
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Drain juice off cherries and pineapple.
    Heat to boiling. Measure to make 2 cups of liquid.
    If not 2 cups, add enough water to juice to make up the difference.
    Pour over jello and dissolve. Add cherries, pineapple, cheese and nuts.
    Place in refrigerator. Let stand overnight.
