Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
3 c. sifted Swans Down
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Cream butter, gradually add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy.
Beat 1 minute on electric mixer or longer by hand.
Sift baking powder, flour and salt.
Add eggs, one at a time to creamed mixture beating well after each addition.
Add flour mixture alternating with milk and flavoring, beating after each addition until smooth.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 35 to 40 minutes.
Frost with favorite can frosting.
