Chicken Party Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. diced cooked chicken
4 Tbsp. flour
2 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 c. grated sharp Cheddar or Longhorn cheese
1 (8 oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen asparagus, cooked and drained
Preparation

Blend flour with 1/2 cup chicken broth.
Gradually add the remaining 2 cups of broth.
Bring to boil, stirring.
Add grated cheese and cook; stir until cheese is melted.
Remove from heat; stir in chicken.
In a 3-quart casserole, alternate layers of chicken mixture with the artichoke hearts and asparagus, beginning and ending with the chicken.
Sprinkle with more grated cheese, if desired.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Can be made ahead and refrigerated until needed.
