Cheesy Hash Browns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns
    1/2 c. melted butter
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. diced onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. shredded cheese
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
Preparation
    Mix hash browns, 1/2 cup of melted butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup and sour cream.
    Add cheese.
    Spread in a 9 x 13-inch buttered dish.
