Nantucket Cranberry Pie - cooking recipe

2 c. raw cranberries (whole)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. nut meats
3/4 c. margarine, melted
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Grease a 9-inch pie tin. Put raw cranberries into the greased pie tin. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and nut meats.
Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over cranberry mixture. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve warm topped with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
