Toffee Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. margarine less 3 Tbsp.
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

In saucepan, melt margarine over low heat.
Take off heat. Mix sugar, then blend other ingredients in order.
Press in ungreased dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
