Granny'S Corn Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. corn (Silver Queen fresh or frozen)
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
    scant c. milk
    1/4 stick butter or margarine
Preparation
    Beat eggs, sugar, salt and pepper; add corn, then milk.
    Add melted butter or margarine.
    Pour into a greased baking dish.
    Set dish in a pan of cold water.
    Place in a cold oven.
    Set oven at 400\u00b0.
    When oven reaches 400\u00b0, reduce heat to 275\u00b0 and cook until knife comes out clear, about 1 hour.
