Norwegian Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/8 tsp. almond extract
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. flour
    1 c. fresh peeled, diced apples
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, combine ingredients.
    Stir until blended.
    Turn mixture into a 9-inch buttered pie pan.
    Mixture will be stiff.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until lightly brown.
    Serve warm or cold.
    Serve with Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
