Mexican Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef or chicken
    1 onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    3 c. tomato sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 small can sliced black olives
    14 oz. can green chilies
    12 corn tortillas
    vegetable oil
    2 c. small curd cottage cheese
    1 egg, beaten
    8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
    1 c. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat; add onion and garlic.
    Sprinkle with chili powder. Add tomato sauce, sugar, olives and chilies.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
