Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1 stick butter, melted
    1/2 c. green onions, chopped
    12 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    1 tsp. salt (can be omitted)
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 pt. sour cream
    bread crumbs or Ritz crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Reserve half of the butter.
    Mix the first 9 ingredients and place in well buttered casserole dish.
    Mix bread crumbs with the reserved melted butter; sprinkle on top of casserole.
    Cover and bake approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350\u00b0, then uncover and bake approximately 10 to 15 minutes longer.
