Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. beef pot roast
    plain flour
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    seasoning salt and pepper
    1 medium onion
    3/4 c. water
    1 c. green peas
    3 to 4 white potatoes
    3 to 4 carrots
Preparation
    Coat the roast with flour.
    Brown roast on all sides in cooking oil.
    Sprinkle lightly with garlic powder, salt and pepper.
    Add onion and water.
    Cover and roast for about 2 hours at 325\u00b0 or simmer on low fire for about 2 hours.
    Add vegetables and cook about an hour longer or until meat and vegetables are tender.
